500f engine enamel (duplicolor i think). Iv used this paint on my ka24de build, worked like a charm. however on that build i didnt paint the head, just the block and vc.

im going to paint 2az head and see how it holds up...if it fails its going to fail around the exhaust side im guessing.

nice to see u finally building your engine chris!
as far as paint goes dupli color makes a flame proof enamel that holds up to 1500. i used that on my vc after the normal 500 one peeled off due to excessive heat under the hood along the exhaust side. id do that so it doesnt look like poop a year later

all those colors are flat though..I want high gloss. my boy carlos is using 500f on his vc with great results..may be due to prep or maybe heat build up cause of manifold..not sure but it has worked for him so far. that is on his vc.

215. A few hiccups though, like I have to set the fuel pressure regulator back to 43.5. Also the pods fell off again...

So what would you think if I got the FullRace mani and went with a straight t4 mani... Maybe an HX40 t4 divided turbo? 6speed swap and 20-30 psi

I think if I go 50psi again it will be on an APR

It is actually cheaper to go with the fullrace and an HX40. Mani is cheap, turbo is like 250 then 120 for a rebuild, problem is that I will need 2 WGs. Management would be a _____

I'm gonna save up for that 6 speed swap so I can get it as soon as it comes out. There is no way my trans is going to hold up for long once I pack in the boost
