didnt feel like taking pics of the pistons installed in the block...lazy strikes again..lol
just for reference the reason i go with such a large ring gap...(im sure my post before about what i set the end gaps at caused some dialogue). Other pistons will vary.

here is just a general diagram of where the end gaps for each rings should be located on the piston.

as promised...though a little late...oh well...enjoy

I wanted to paint the whole engine and not just the block and timeing cover but of course poop happens when your rushed. I didnt even get a chance to degrease the upper oil pan or the head. I did however clean the combustion chamber. May try to install this week...not sure.

Shoulda brought it to my shop instead of dealing with them... Looks good either way, kinda reminds me of an old chevy with the parts being different colors. A redneck 4-banger.
So hey if I can get my oil changed, track down the leak, and fix my suspension would it be ok if I dropped by tomorrow for a quick tune after I drop the bike off?

It doesn't look like le poop. Nobody will ever be able to deny that the engine was pulled and rebuilt though... Don't see many black engine tCs. Plus the VC is ****
