what kit did you go with and has anyone heard from todd?

 

^^ he got Tnetics, last post i've seen from todd is on the TT scammed thread.. i think he's finishing orders and get complaints over with

The used deal fell though - the seller turned out to be sketchy.

I ended up buying a brand new kit for $3999 with free 2-day air shipping and free $350 gas card.

I have my reasons for going Tnetics.. it was a very tough decision on that vs the Dezod kit. Paul spent a great deal of time working with me.. I'll end up giving them much business in the future.

As for Todd, he recently shipped me out a vacuum block.. it took a week but it got here. He was pretty responsive to my txt's.

 

i like the tnetics kit arent they all bb now not standard journal?

 

They've always been BB.. but now they're all watercooled too. Before the non-watercooled turbos would blow seals early.. now that's not an issue.

And I have a Unichip tuner who's 46min away from me!!

 

yup that tnetics blowing seal problem has long been gone.. the new ones are nice, i like their new design with that anti surge housing and stuff

 

i have a aem tunner 2 miles from me but no hydra tunner lol

 

^^ if they are good tuner they can tune the hydra.. the software is straight forward, way easy to understand than my emangle haha... im almost 100% the aem tuner can tune the hydra well, just let them play with the software

 

i dont know if he would want to play so much as charge me to play

 

lol yeah, they would want you to go aem.. but will the hydra work for you? aem should make a box for scions though

the problem with the ems is no one makes a harness dezod is working on it they cant get the conectors so yeah who knows

im officially boosted......for the most part the car runs awesome.

 

Iv only gotten it to 4psi before i let off but wow you feel the power, im very excited. I cant wait to go to 10psi but not untile all the loose ends get tied up. on meatys tune the car ran hella rich and wanted to die at idle(10afr will do that...lol)
so i disconnected the fic for now so i can still drive around town. I need to go visite the muffler shop and have the cutout welded on and run by my shop and weld up my dump tube. On stock computer I ran 50miles last night to get home and didnt even get a cell...

 

well I wanted to say THANKS to all the peeps that helped me out with imfo on boosting my car, and thanks to Todd for a hella awsome kit.
