Hodge Podge: Houston style
hey kev, I feel for ya bro. You've been waiting for this sheit A LONG time man. It's kind of depressing at first cuz u want to enjoy it right away, but then agan u have make sure everything is working right and it doesn't blow up :-)
BTW chris took of the heat shield off, unbolted the shifting cable braket, unbolted the exhaust (s pipe) and we also took off the driver side wheel. From the driver side u can use a reeeaally long extension to unbolt the engine from the bracket and there's 3 nuts holding the bracket from the bottom. Once that's done unbolt the transmission mount completely (can be done first, it doesn't matter) and jack the engine up untill u clear the front stud of the rear bracket. Ur gonna have to have someone on top pulling the bracket towards them and the bottom person twisting it in a way that the bracket will come out bottom first but sideways. By that I mean that the two rear stud will be on the left hand of the person on the bottom and the front stud will be on the right. It helps to take intake assembly of, so the person on top can reach and pull

hey travis, what's up? well I didn't run the car at the 1/8 so, chris is gonna have to show his numbers.
BUUT, I did run the 1/4 earlier in the day and got a 13.8 on my first run.
Second run I got cocky and just left the pedal down on second and hit the rev limiter like 4 time before shifting into third and got a 14.6.
On the third one (14.6) the launch was alright, but not as good as the first. When I went into third the rpm went up pretty darn quick, but the car wasn't moving. It took until the end of third to hook up and go along with the program.
My best 1/8 time at the 1/4 track was a 9.1 so, not too bad for my Nitto Invos. Those suckers have a really good grip for a street tire and on 36 psi.
That was my last run for sure, it is my DD after all and don't have the time to upgrade clutch right now. BTW, I'm running 8 psi spiking to 9 every once in a while on a t3/t4e 57 trim .60 cold .63 hot 2.1 TT kit
