im getting my zpi stage 3 block put in very soon and i need to know how much boost i can run before i need a new fuel pump and bigger injectors? right now i have the stock pump, and 550cc injectors.

 

i say no more then 14-16psi.. and i think 16psi ur maxin out your injectors.. or close

zpi is really busy right now, and i call them enough as it is. is anyone out there running 15 psi on 550's and stock fuel pump, and if so how close are you to maxing out your injectors?

 

10 maaaaaaybe 12 psi with 550cc injectors depending on your compression ratio. The stock fuel pump is maxxed out at 550cc injectors 660s require a bigger pump, like a walboro.

Almost ever kit out there that makes 9-10 psi runs 550 and anyone running more boost runs bigger injectors, just look at zpi's stage 1.5 kit if you want proof, 12 psi 660's but the stage 1 runs 9-10psi with 550's

 

15 PSI on a T88 vs 15 PSI on a 16G are drastically different power outputs. So please think in terms of power levels and not a generic form of pressure rating to put all turbos on the same platform, which can not be done.

I had stock pump at 12 psi with 550's
I just recently put in the a walbro 255 but I still have the 550's but Im soon to goto prolly 15psi and 750's
