Default How to remove Speed Governor?

Hi all. This si my first time posting. I have a 2007 Scion tC on Boost. Custom turbo set up with a T3/T4 60 trim. To the point, it tops out too quick. What can I do to remove the Governor?

you would have to have a EMS to bypass it I believe. You would need to post a little more information about your custom kit f you really desired more "helpful" feedback.

There's a bunch of speed limiter eliminators...

Try HKS Speed.Limiter.Defencer, that's what I use, my friend tapped it into the ECU. It's just a little E-box about 4inches square.

I got it used for 60bucks from the guy who installed it! (free install too.)

Stop racing on public roads. Your car is too slow to trap that high in the quarter mile and you won't be hitting those speeds in auto-x courses either.

And even if you did manage to remove the electronic limiter, your car gears out at around 134mph.

for real though. It makes no sense as 5th gear tops out at 130 anyway before redlining. So it serves no purpose

You need a good e-manage. Don't be stupid the car goes the speed it goes for a reason because the car will lose control at greater speeds. If you are into auto sports you will see that the worst crashes are caused by aero parts flying off.

Emanage wont do that you need a standalone ECU.

But with the tC gearing its pointless because you pretty much Redline at 130 anyway or would.

Well then, what can remove teh rev limiter? And would you have to have a built block to run like that?
