wait i heard the greddy pressure sensor does the same thing.. it allows partial throttle tuning?

so whats the difference between the blackbox and the pressure sensor?

pressure sensor and black box are completely different

black box controls closed loop o2 (aka partial throttle)

pressure sensor lets the emanage tune off PSI not the MAF sensor (still full throttle)

I also have a black box LMK

so with my build "internals and new valves" you would probably recommend getting a blackbox correct?

What is the difference between the blue and the ultimate in terms of tuning partial throttle? I thought they had similar functionality regarding the ability to tune partial throttle?

both dont have full control of partial throttle, they only have full control when the car goes in to open loop.. ptuning though is working on a fuel trim defender that helps with the tune..

have you hooked it already man? how's it running? be sure to check if the tune is loaded..

and yeah greddy pressure sensor is different from blackbox.. although both uses/tunes through boost/manifold pressure, the pressure sensor is to be used with the emanage as an option so you will be able to tune based on boost pressure (preferably) still control no full control on partial throttle because the O2 sensor (closed loop) alters fuel to lean it out.. BB does is to keep the tune from leaning while on closed loop

I wasn't able to hook it up this weekend, mostly because I was pretty hung over all day saturday from Halloween.

I'm am a little nervous about splicing into the wiring harness to hook it up though. Does anyone know where I can find how the pin's are numbered on the stock harness (I think the directions indicates a pin number).

Sweet. I'm surprised I hadn't found that section of their website before.

Last question on thi, Did you splice it into the plug and play emanage harness or into the ecu harness? I would think the ECU harness

Thanks!

i used the pnp harness, you can splice it eithr way.. just make sure you splice the right wires, triple check if you have to.

Yeah. That's my biggest concern with splicing into the ECU (splicing the wrong wires).

I'll get a buddy to do it with my to double check me.

Probably is a good idea to do the Plug and play though, cause if I screw it up bad, it will be a lot cheaper to replace than the ECU harness.
