Got any CEL's. Wastegates don't open when you let off the gas (That's the BOV) which the stage 0 does not have.

Did you install any piggy back fuel computer? Any injectors? Get a code reader and find out what's wrong -It can save you alot of time.

Well I do have a BOV but anyways what i was saying is that when i step on the gas, once it reaches the cutoff the wastegate opens up, and thats when i start smelling fuel..I haven't put the new injectors in and the ultimate isn't hooked up I'm waiting to do all that monday when it gets tuned. Its running fine don't get me wrong its hauling the mail. I'm just wondering if the fuel smell is just leftover exhaust as it exits the wastegate

hahaha bro ur gonna smell alot of crap i have the dezod kit, its normal especially if u dont have cats on ur car it will smell like fresh fuel its perfectly fine dont worry, unless its a burning smell. cats are made to keep all the pollutants out of the air that is in the fuel when its burned.... whenn u take it off, it will smell like a gas station smells, u ever sit next to an old muscle car ???????

eh, i have an exhaust leak by the wastegate which likes to creep into the cabin, lol. so ya, whenever the bov goes off, there's a temporary rich state in which it goes from the smell of exhaust, then smell the wonderful odor of raw fuel in the cabin. ah...the smells of being boosted

u get that smell when u take off the cat forced induction or not it dosent matter, with the forced induction tho its a lil more haha i love that smell and i have open dump and love it bro it is very quiet just cruisng and when i get on it, it sounds beast. If it bothers u alot u can always reroute the dump tube into the exhaust and get a cat, at the cost of a lil hp, u payed for the turbo kit get as much as u can out of it thats how i see it, when ur driving ur mom dont floor it lol just cruise.

Sounds like an exhaust leak to me too! The ZPI manifold hits the heater core line in the back. the manifold looks like it's sealing but it aint. bend the heater line back a bit and re-install the turbo-manifold assembly.

Get under the car and inspect for any exhaust leaks from engine to muffler. It's easy to hear... or smell them
