i was searching on the internet for those electric superchargers, i know there garbage and i thought of this....what if you had a compressed air tank in the trunk lets say at 100psi, piped it to the exhaust side of a small turbo, it would work kinda like any air tool. Like a rotary air sander. Air passes through the exhaust side, spins the turbine, and compresses air...no heat....some air tools are very poweful.....im wondering if you can create some substantial boost for a short amount of time...5 gallon tank at 100 psi should last about a min.

as ___ as it is.
somebody has done it on their tC. i remember seeing the video posted here.
only reason why you should even have a compressor in your car is if you plan on bagging it.
to me thats just trying to hard. there are soo many kits available right now.

logically speaking, you'd spend more money on less HP gain. You'd get more HP from a Type R sticker than that method But seriously, NOS or turbo, the Scion supercharger kit is just pathetic for price to power ratio.

No way it would spin the turbine even a tenth of the speed it needs to create power. You would be better off trying to dump the whole tank at once into the intake itself.. which still probably wouldnt do too much really.

Or cool the intake charge with CO2 with a cryO2 system. I forgot who makes it. LOT cheaper for cooling than using NOS on a intercooler. They make a pipe inline to the TB to cool the incoming air temp. But yet again, HP increase is less than money spent unless your'e boosted.
