Default Idle issues (SC, AEM FIC, 10.5lb)

Hello!

Here is my Issue:

I have been driving the car for ~6000 miles with the SC. I had a tune down ~2000 miles ago and it went very well, the car was running great! About 300 miles ago, the wiring to my wideband melted, so I purchased a new sensor. I just installed it yesterday. Immediately after the install, I started the car and it began to have some problems.

1. It seems like it tries to idle at almost 2000 RPM
2. It will NOT idle. If I come to a stop light or even just "Clutch In" on the highway, it stalls. Bad. Wideband reads like a 19+ at "idle". at 2000 RPM it "idles" at a 14.2.

The only other thing I touched yesterday was my catch can, and I drained it.

I really really need some input and feedback on this one, that car is my transportation, period. I hate looking like a retard starting my car again at every stop light....

Check to make sure you did not get a break in one of the vac lines coming off of the catch can.

I checked what I could visually, and I saw no issues. I also took a look at the drain valves and made sure they were still tight. It runs absolutely amazing about 2k still, but if I go below it is garbage right now. I will pull apart the intake later and see if I can find anything else interesting in there, but I am a bit concerned.

Another update:

Cleaned the MAF, but it still runs stupid. It tries to idle RIGHT at 1500 half of the time, and that works alright, the other half it tries to idle at the stock level, ~ 800, and goes crazy lean and dies. I toyed with dumping some fuel at that point, but it just ignores me.

Still no sign of any vacuum leaks, but Ill keep up the hunt! I hope someone else has input!

disconnect the battery terminals for 15min - reconnect and start the car - let it idle for 10min - drive the car around the block a few times easily. See if the issue goes away - I want to see if just resetting the ECU and running it easy while it adjusts itself helps. We have a ECU that learns so sometimes when you reset things and let the learning curve correctly set in ...then your good.

Yeah... So I reset the ECU and its still ____ed up.... Pulled the intake and all piping, and I just cleaned the Throttle Body (didnt look bad though) and checked my Vac hoses. Nothing looked wrong. I left the battery unhooked for a bit longer. Ill try starting it in a few.

Well, it seems like it is slightly better at idle now, but it seems "fragile" if you know what I mean... I can start it, and it will stay running for a while. I havent had a chance to drive it around since cleaning the TB and stuff... 13 more hours until my work shift is over. After that I will test it.

You got it. I have some stuff I really need to clean up too, like some wiring... Maybe tomorrow I can get it right.
