One main thing is quality parts at a very affordable price.

I would have to say a gt28r or a 20g would be the best, quick spool and linear power band, In some cases you can go a cheaper route with the internal gate, granted it may not hold boost over 350hp. I think if they have a bolt and go budget for the car they should look into the Emanage ultimate also, (just be hear say of the FI/C and choppyness), 750cc, 2.75 piping with vibrant intercooler all this plumbed into stock airbox. Not sure on EL or cast, EL really just depened on who builds it in the end.

2.75 piping would be so much over kill for 300 hp.. 2.25 is best imo. 550 cc injectors is right on, 750 for those running ethanol. EL manifold is not necessary but aesthetically looks so much better, log manifold will do the job but then remember they crack too.. cast manifold gets rusty too so minus show factor.

It all the depends on the end users goal, if they have want to spend a bit more on a kit that enables them to easily raise their power goal later on or when if they want to spend a bit more on something with show factor.. a budget kit is very possible for 300hp if all whats needed is to reach that

Personally i thought:

Log Manifold
20G
2.5 IC piping
Blow Through
550cc Injectors
Aem FIC
2.5 DP
2.5 SP
Tial BOV
Internally gatted.

I would think that would make ONE fast tc. The car redlines to say 6400. So having a over sized slow spooling turbo would not be ideal!

Well keep it coming guys! And well keep debating about it here!

thats sounds pretty good right there.. my only concern with the 20g is the flange, if the turbo needs replacement or if the owner choose to upgrade the option is so limited compared to t3 flanged.

That sounds like every other turbo kit on the market except for the 20g. Gotta be different like bigger ic/piping and management, bigger dp/spipe etc.

if you really want to tap into a market that no other scion tuning company is paying any attention to, then address the transmission. a whole lot more people are making 400 whp+ then back in 2006. we need gearing ratio options, straight cut gearing options, a transaxle that can handle 800 whp, and it would be nice to see an auto that can handle at least 500 whp.

Yeah, I agree. The people on big power usually piece together, or make their own kits. No one has a proven way to make trans handle power. All we have are some clutches, a LSD, and some Axles that are crazy expensive.

The "bulletproof" Autos that are sold suck. Period. IPT or level 10. If you can get an auto that holds power, some people may actually be able to put down impressive times. And this forum may actually notice that an automatic isnt "FTL"

an auto that can handle 500 whp could easily run high 9's.

please go with a different ems
along with everyone else, we would love to see another turbo kit in production, but most people on here would in turn upgrade,
the 20g internal gate suggestions were for your customer,

now for us, we want a t88, BFMIC, 4in tbe built long block packages
jk

but seriously a external gated gt28rs/gt30/35r el maniold and a different method of tuning, built long block wouldnt be bad either

edit: the straight cut gearing would be a nice option as well

I know, I wish someone would build one. It will be expensive but it would be so worth it to the hardcore drag racers.

why? there's already hydra, haltech, aem, x1, and pro efi. these all work well when tuned and maintained properly. problem is, most people aren't getting a proper tune, then the just blame it on the ems.

Thank you. Someone on this forum who is not a complete idiot. Still waiting for all these "awesome drivers" and "5 speed ftw" people to beat my 1/4 time with similar power. Good luck with 10's btw.
