Default increasing redline on 07+ with ultimate?

i was wondering if anyone has figured out how to do this yet? i know it works fine in the older models because they have a different type of redline cut off ( ignition vs fuel cut). last time i read once the 07+ ecu detects that its gone past the redline it starts going crazy and cuts fuel and throwing codes and the ultimate cant do anything about it. at that point you then need to reset the ultimate and the ecu to get it to work right again.

so has anyone found a way around this issue yet?

basically what that means is that no one really has an idea.

Best I could find for you refers to a nissan motor (which uses fuel cut for rev limiter and goes crazy if you use the emanage to remove the rev limiter)

take a look at page 48 (and the last paragraph of 47) of this document and it MIGHT help you, but you would want to consider talking to your tuner prior to attempting anything.

however, I still stand by my standalone statement! (it will prevent other headaches in the future!)
