Default Will this work?? YUP!!!(updated)

A friend of mine is looking for a supercharger for his 08, is it true that all you need to make a 05-06 s/c kit work on the 08 is a new header and a tune with an FIC? No offense but if you don't have true insight please don't share what you think, if your not sure don't post it I WANT ALL POST TO BE FACTUAL and not opinions or ideas!!

Turns out it will work all you need is an aftermarket header or the 05 OEM header, MAF adapter plate or just the stock top of your 07 air box and 07-08 reflash at the dealer or FIC tune. YOU WONT BE WARRANTIED SO DO AT YOUR OWN RISK AND NOT AT THE DEALERSHIPS!!!

Well, not just the headers... if your friend does not want to spring for the F/IC, you will need the flash module from the 2007+ kit...

07+ dont need the reflash module, you can get the reflash at the dealer. the reflash is on the TIS network to download.

yes, you will need a new maf adapter flange for the intake (unless the 07 stock airbox and tube can be fabbed to meet the intake on the S/C)

header's really aren't year specific since the exhaust ports did not change from year to year... your friend will probably want to search around on eBay/google for an anti-fouler for the o2 sensor.

You dont need a maf adapter. You use the trd airbox bottom and reuse the stock top of the airbox.
