would an injen cai work with a trd s/c because i have the cai and plan on gettind the s/c and would like to know if it would work

 

one, you wo'n't have any warranty if you do, two, you run the risk of running lean unless you get it tuned.

 

oh, and no, it won't fit without some modifications.

 

so basically i would have to swap out my cai for the stock intake if i decide to get the s/c ............. what kind of moding would i need to do? would converting the cai to the ram intake make a difference?

 

you would have to custom fabricate the piping from the engine to the MAF sensor pretty much due to the area it takes off from the supercharger...but if you do it, you must get tuned ASAP and definitely don't get on it too much until it's tuned...and the warranty...bubye...

I have a Injen cai on my setup and run just the trd reflash and run perfectly fine with plenty of fuel all the way to the top.

 

Do you have a 9.5lb pulley or anything else with that setup?

 

Yeah I have a 9.5 pulley and manifold back exhaust.

 

what did you do to make it fit? i got a k&n intake that i plan to use also...

 

How much was the TRD s/c? Im interested.... in applying.

 

Why are you using a breather? Didnt some kid blow his motor up about 2 months ago doing just that?
