Default installing my supercharger

im installing my supercharger and it was saying to change the crank pulley bolt. do i change it or leave it?

i hated that 12 points bolt for the supercharger, It suppose to be stronger than the 6 points crank bolt. I would leave the old one on. I don't see how the new bolt is stronger.

not anymore, i replaced the bearings, but it still makes high pitch noise. I ask ptuning turn my tc back to stock.

is there alot of problems with the sc cause i got my kit free from friends they went turbo they gave me 2 one was blow i just swaped parts i have everything minus a few bolts

i think 05 and 06 years have issues, mine was 06. i baby my car. At 80,000 mile, my engine and tranny still going strong.

As for the pan just drill and tap the one you have or have someone weld it. As for the pipes just stick with the rubber ones, I don't think you're gonna find the metal ones... Could just have them custom made at a shop if you want them so bad. Since your car is an 08 I think you need a fit kit, or maybe that's for autos

When I put my used s/c kit in I got the trd bolt and put it in. I wouldn't want to risk having the crank bolt snap. If it does you are pretty much screwed you would need a new crank shaft or spend a small fortune having it drilled and tapped. They use the new crank bolt for a reason.
