Default It's Time...

I have been really busy lately to even do anything to my car, but it's time to take it up a notch. I am at 259WHP and 287WTQ and I want to try and go for 350WHP on the stock block. However, will I need a standalone to do that safely or will my GReddy E-Manage Ultimate do the job? I have the sleeved block from 318_tC but I am not sure if I want to use it because I have heard bad things about it which I am not sure makes sense because it's not the sleeves that affect oil pressure, it would have to be something like a gap. ANYWAY, I want TT's 3" Downpipe, 3" S-Pipe, V2.1 Manifold, and maybe a GT30 at 12 lbs. I may get the GT30 elsewhere because seems like Todd's site doesn't have options for it and I want the polished housing, 4 bolt exhaust side, etc. But, what's the big deal with people dissing Todd and TT? Should I not get it? I am debating on a GT30 or a GT35. I plan on making 550WHP someday, so I would think a GT35 is a better idea.

first off your emanage should work fine. Also, if you have a 3" downpipe you cant have a four bolt exhaust side on your turbo.... the 3" piping has vband flanges. Send him an email with what you want and he can get you a quote. A gt35 would be a bit large for a 350 build and you should probably go with a gt30 to start with to see if you like the 350 or want more. I was more than content at 310 myself.

people hate on todd because he sucks at shipping. his stuff has OK fitment and is good quality and takes forever to get to you.

Apparently, you know nothing about the specific sleeved block I have. APPARENTLY, it doesn't hold oil pressure, which I am not sure of that because sleeves have NOTHING to do with oil pressure. It's either the sealing or bolting I would guess.

And Cory, it's been awhile man, my bad for being an ****. I was in a rough time back then, it's all good now and want more POWAH! What power and torque you at now? I am thinking about a similar set up as yours, just the 3" Downpipe, 3" S-Pipe, V2.1 Manifold, and GT3076R.

Ok, that sounds very good. BUT!!! Could I do that with my current set up? Open dump wastegate (ugh), log manifold, T04E-60 .53 A/R, 2.5" Downpipe, 2.5" S-Pipe, 2.25" Magnaflow Exhaust.

Messy huh? I hate it. I am gonna get a custom tube made. Might get it welded into the downpipe. Make sure you don't pipe it out at the front or there will be a black area of your bumper.

That sounds good. I am at 9.5 lbs (259WHP and 287WTQ as I said above) so, think 15 lbs will get me to 350WHP with 3" exhaust?

Seriously? That sucks. Why did it blow?

I will get it sent somewhere, probably ERL as they sleeved it and have them check it or something, I really don't know what to do with this block, it sucks.
