on a side note:

If someone purchased a used 05-06 kit and they have a 07-08 I know where you can get the correct intake pipe with the right maf flange. Or vice versa for that matter.

Like Todd said, the INtake pipe is shaped differently and the MAF is wrong. the way the air moves over the MAF totally makes it flip out.

You will need the INtake pipe from an 07-08 to make the rest of the kit work. PM Todd

as mentioned its just because of a different maf sensor flange... you can either get that maf adapter or get an intake pipe with the 07 up maf sensor flange as suggested above.. all the rest you're all good

it can be tuned as long as you have the right intake and an engine management

grab the compressor wheel shaft nut and pull in/push out. see how much it moves. you get more than lets say 1/4" of movement the turbo is gonna die soon. spin it with your fingers as well, too see if it hits the housing, you will be able to see this as well. And make usre that there is no OIL in the housings.

Other than that you are good.

check to see what engine managment system comes with it....if its the unichip it will not plug into an 07-09 tc...thats not to say that it couldnt be hard wired but i really couldnt say for sure...also could be an adapter for it but iv never heard of one....

now if its anyother managment (AEMfic, greddy blue, greddy ultimate, ect) you will need to order a pnp harness or have some one hardwire it in...its alot easier to get a pnp harness though...they can be found @ boomslang.com or from just about any vendor on here...i think most sell the boomslang harness. they go for about 300-350.

i don't think he is includeing any fuel management with it i was going to buy the AEM fi/c for it with 550cc injector's but the pnp harness wouldint come with the aem fi/c if i bought it? but he is includeing the a pillar gauge pod and the gauge's but im about to leave to go check it out if i like what i see ill get it at the end of this month and like i said ive already got someone willing to swap me maf sensor pipeings from a 07/08 kit so that problem is solved also i already have a 9.5lb fidanza flywheel is it 2 light for turbo? im going to be getting a stage 3 clutch also before i install the kit

sounds good.. you would have to buy the pnp harness separate, look around here you might find someone selling rather than brand new. 9.5 is kinda aggressive but it all depends on you

you might still need to shop few misc install parts, depends on what your kit comes with.. but as for clutch im sure you would be safe with stage 3 unless you are wanting more serious power, you dont really need the flywheel but it will help get to boost faster
