While very fun with a drum for a magazine and the full auto conversion (I can vouch for that and so can the yellow truck that got all 75 rounds), the AK just isn't very accurate beyond 50 meters or so. They sound scary but the AR is simply more lethal in the right hands. Lethal = Awesome!

yes but a 7.62 wound is a dropper a 223 is a hurter and i have had them all the my custom rpk was fairly accurate compared to a ar but as far as cost and effectivnes not to mention reliability and knowing no problems can arize the ak is king wont break easy to take care of i would get clusters the same as i did with my buddies ar but a rpk is a little different then a ak my ak couldnt hit the broad side of a barn unless you wernt trying. you try you miss if that makes sence.

i have just never been a fan of 223 all bark no bite i mean 40 grain?
i do like some of the larger boar ars the 308s the 7mill mag thats the way to go

True, the 7.62 is a heavier hitter but if I were knockin' down doors in Iraq, I'll take the M4 .223 for precision and agility of the weapon. Both good killers (if that makes sense lol) but I choose the latter of the two. However, if you brought your rpk my way, would I shoot it? Hell yes! Would it be a blast? (no pun intended) Hell yes! Would I go toe to toe with the enemy using one instead of an M4/16/AR15, probably not. Then again, our slightly outdated M1 carbine isn't exactly modern warfare either

Screw guns, there are people that I'd like to shoot! Oh wait, that's not what you meant lol. I'd love to get my hands on the AA-12 automatic 20 round shotgun! With different rounds from slugs to grenades, what can go wrong?
