maf sensor placement
I have been playing around with my maf sensor placement and have run into problems I wanted to ask you guys if anyone knows if the placement is an issue. For placement, image this, the stock sensor is right after the air filter and if you think about an x/y axis coordinate graph the maf is on the x axis and its pointing down. Now i moved my intake piping straight down under the battery tray and i put my maf into the side of the piping in a way that it is put into the side of the intake pipe, so its on the y axis and its pointing toward the negative part of the x-axis. Anyway when i changed the placement like this car runs like ____. Any ideas? I'm guessing the maf position is the culprit.
I noticed when I had my intake below the battery the intake pipe was very short and the car would always stall and run bad probably because of the lenght, I tried rec the blow off valve and still had the same problem. Here are some pics of what mine looked like before I moved it and put a fmic on

yes i was experiencing the same problem and my intake piping was only like 6" when i routed it below the battery like you. I'll try to extend it and see what happens, I need to get some silicon elbows.
