I did have just a filter coming off the s/c but I had to get it so small to fit with my i/c piping it hurt power (the filter was about half the size of the original). I found a place to buy mandrel bends and got a big 3" filter so hopefully I'll get a little bit more power out of it, we'll see.

Kytc Film your engine on the dyno. I want to post the video of your TC with the Ingalls ETD, on the INGALLS website! Try to do one pull with it on one pull with it off. If its not possible good luck and keep in touch

man I really hope your s/c doesnt take a crap like everyone elses after doing all this stuff to it. The TURD s/c has not proven to be a strong piece

good luck though

ZPI made the water cooler for this car, so that's not it....

No, just felt that 3 inch is a little much for the hp goals that he is trying to reach. dunno, just taking a guess at it, just from what I've seen it seems a bit of an overkill.

PWR made the water cooler, ZPI made the pipes. And the reasoning for the 3in intake is that I wanted a new pipe without a place to mount a maf and figured since it didn't matter I may as well get as much air in as possible (the prices from a 2.5 to 3 inch elbow were negligable anyway)

I don't see why ZPI used a 2.5" intake in the first place. If you look back to the pictures on page 15 it doesn't look very good with that transition hose. If the the supercharger has a 3" inlet why wouldn't you maximize the potential of what you got. Kytc can you post pictures? I am sure your setup looks a lot cleaner now. You know I gave a lot of crap when you got your car back but it looks like you are doing good things to improve the performance and the appearance of your setup. Keep up the good work with the supercharger.
