i believe he had the 12 psi pulley on and they are just starting a speed density tune or something--just to try and catch you up...i hope i haven't missed something

correct - which means that for a fact ...you are lookin at 20+ more compared to a dynojet ....who knows ...maybe at high as 40. ...thats the difference ...also - peak power is not what matters - its about the curve.


there were guys w/ the s/c and pulley and they were in the 190's hp.

 

The car made 242 peak hp on a mustang dyno with 10psi of boost on a speed density tune( no maf ). For those "peak" HP number dynojet guys, thats 261whp with an 8 percent correction factor figured in. The car made very smooth power and made good torque on the low end compared to some other s/c graphs I've seen.

 

Sooooo....when can we race? Our car is not 100%, but I'll race anyway.

 

^Maybe in a couple of weeks man, I'll be getting the car finished up on my part this coming week and then I've got to get with Charles and see if I can let him have it the next week to bump the boost and get the final tune on the ultimate.

To get back on topic: How are things running with the car..When is the next stage happening?

 

I'm taking it up for the final tuning and more boost either this Monday or next. I don't know when the transmission stuff is going to happen, should be within the next couple of months. I've got to pay off my credit card first and then I'll do it. After that I'm probably done with everything until next spring or so.

Just an update for you guys, I'm going up to Louisville next week to bump me up to 12 psi of boost and get the final numbers on the car on the mustang. After that I'll be getting a dynojet done unless Charles has somewhere up there he can take it for the dynojet.
