This turbo kit is a very efficent setup, and is using a 57trim. at 10 psi its 11.6 but near red line it spikes to 12psi.. The oem pump cant support this.. If i put car to 12 PSI then it would creep to 14PSI..

AEM TruBoost fail! And we tried everything!

 

The aem tru boost is an iffy gadget someitmes. Other people have come across boost creep on low psi levels.

 

We tried every spring rate you could think of..

Changed vacume hose's to 3/8 tryed new T. Either way.. He needs a pump! Boosting on OEM pump is not a good idea!

 

Agreed very true but this weather must be heaven sent espicially when your turbo. You guys ever check the temperature drop across the intercooler. Man I need a better turbo

 

yeah truboost isnt that great preventing spikes/creep.. but if you remove the dump tube i noticed that it makes boost more consistent

 

woudlint be a good idea on the ptuning kit! would make quite the mess!
