I know what the conservative injector size calculators say but I'm still curious to know how much BHP or WHP people have made with 440cc inj's. TIA.

 

440's are good to about 250 whp max i believe. i wouldnt push themto thier absolute limit. always wanna have a little butter room

 

i knew a guy who had an zpi kit and with stock injectors he was at 280 so i think you whould be good to around 300ish.

Id say 250ish if you wanna stay below 80%idc (Recommended), but pushing to the limit I bet you could see 275whp Not saying you should do it, but it would more than likely be possibly (granted you'd prob see 90+% idc's)

 

I had 440's with my supercharger and made about 250hp

 

Thanks everyone. Not what I was hoping to hear but exactly what I expected. I'm making ~260 bhp @ 6psi now and wanted to go to 7psi but I don't think I'll risk it.

 

yea, you should.. rather be safe then sorry afterwards..

 

I don't know why I ever considered it. I was running 7 psi last year and switched to 6 psi specifically because I was seeing 98% IDC in hot weather. I'm planning to do a return system with a 1:1 adj. FPR before I go back to 7 psi. 440's at 50 psi will flow enough.
