Default misfire on cyl 1 help.

Ive got an 05 tc that I recently turboed. Its a t3/t4 turbo pushin 7 psi on stock internals. I have a misfire on cyl 1, I'm still runnin stock plugs. The misfire happened one day when I was out tuning so I tightened up the gap from .043 to .035. Everything was runnin great till tonight. It misfired again when I was in full boost. My buddy said its probably boost blowin out the spark so I tightened the gap to .032 tonight. Everything is runnin back to normal.....for now. Anyone know a reason I could be misfiring. Its not my coil pack because I swapped it around and it only stays in cyl 1. I'm also runnin 550 injectors. Could I might not be gettin enough fuel to cyl 1? I still have the stock fuel pump. Or is it time to get some colder plugs? Any info would be helpful.

you should have gotten colder spark plugs when you turbo'ed it, even the trd supercharger comes with one step colder spark plugs.

i'm not saying this will fix your problem for sure, but it is something that you should do anyway.

Colder plugs will help..check that injector too, could have an issue there.

but at the same time....

welcome to some of the issues with forced induction.

The airflow dist. between the 4 cyl is un even. Some cars notice it more than others.
Thus leading to certain check engine lights.

Regards-

Todd
