Travis you cant talk you hound everyone for times and dyno's! Your under reveiew pal!

You know I don't care about dyno Numbers. I've only ever dynoed our car 1 time, back when it was on 7 PSI. The numbers are nothing more than for bragging rights. But I would be sadden if you were making this ungodly amount of HP, and still running the same times or worse as a Stock Motor tC does...lol.

It's interesting and amusing at best when dyno #'s are posted. But I can remember the days when the bench mark was set by Times at the track. When F/I got started here in the Scion community, it was done with Track times. Now it's moved to being Dyno Queens and Paper weight show cars...Blah! Run that mug! Show me what you workin with.
that is the truth. My 130whp seems to fall short in people's opinion but i have yet to see sombody with a faster xB or xA yet. I finally get to race a ZPI turbo'd xB this next weekend YAY! Lets see if Dyno #'s really matter.....
power to weight ratio has alot to do with your xa.

what i really meant is that Dyno #'s don't tell the whole truth, so many shops mess with the calibration of the dyno the numbers are far from accurate. A dyno is good if u keep using that same dyno to compare upgrades. For example there are 2 really good performance shops in my area, a stock 2007 Civic SI put down 190whp on Pro-motion's Dyno jet..... That car is rated at 197 crank hp right... so i doubt there is only a 2.5% drivetrain loss in that car. P-tuning has a really good Dyno, the frikken thing cost $100k and there are only 2 in the country, it is supose to be the most accurate dyno. Since they are close to me I have dyno'd with them twice. I read 130whp on there dyno with 147ft. lbs torque, on Pro-motions I would read 148whp and 167 ft lbs torque.
Basically what im saying is 2 people comparing Dyno #'s doesnt mean jack, even if it's the same type of dyno, unless it is the exact same dyno.

Whoa, starting right out at 10psi, eh? I thought you were starting at 8.7 psi which would be a .6bar spring.
did dezod say how long till you get your kit?
Oh, and did you get the cat option? how about the dump tube? recirc or open?

I got catless recirculated.
Since I live in CO, I just thought it would actually be easier on the engine since I live up so high than as if I lived in FL or whatever. What you think?

10 PSI with good tuning ok?

Well, my wastegate is coming with a .3 bar spring, but I have a boost controller, so I can put it up wherever I want when I get tuned. I just like haveing the option to turn it down if need be. 10 psi is as low as you'll be able to go. But yeah, with Dezod's kit and a good tune, I think you'll be right where you wanna be.

Or I can still use the .6 BAR spring and crank it up with a manual boost controller. Or should I go electronic? Anyway, you think I will be ok with 10 PSI?

the .6 bar should be good (8.7psi) but I would not go with a manual boost controller, personally. Turn that thing the wrong way once and BOOM!
spend the money and get an electric boost controller.
