Default Moving MAF post SC, Will it work?

I did search under "MAF" but did not get anything relating......
Ive thought about this but will it work? Ive recently had to change my MAF and noticed it wasnt like a hotwire filiment as such, like what ive seen on nissan ive had in the past, but more like a Thermistor, an encapsulated type of sensor.

What im wondering is if the MAF would still read airflow properly. I do have the GEMU which ive been using to map the car since fitting my FMIC, aswell as an Innovate XD16, i was wondering if this will be enough for me to map the engine if i do move the MAF post SC. Also, there will be some work involved getting all the bits i need to move it.

I REALLY doubt it. mine has been moved 2-3 inches closer before the s/c still and it's not running very well until I get it tuned because it's sucking the air in too fast, much less if it was blowing pressurized air out.
