Take it easy Paul .... My point is that it will not be a GET UNDER THE CAR AND REMOVE THE PLUG job: it is very tight and difficult to work there. I have not tried to remove the P/S pump in the car so I really don't know how hard it will be!

Take it easy? It's all good bro, didn't mean that in any bad way. I just meant we'll see if he can do it. I normally doubt what he does but then some how he does it.lol

He thinks if we pull the belt like I was gonna and have the right size ratchet he will be able to move the pulley and get at the bolt through the holes. We don't need to take it totally off but just move it up or back a little. In fact I may not of had to drain it. Also if the axle was removed it would be able to do a lot easier. I'm also waiting to here back from the dealership to see if they know what to do or can do it and how much. So far I was told know one has ever done it yet.

UPDATE:

Ok, this is hard but I'm kinda taking a step backwards in this project. Don't worry I'm not done yet. This is my DD and Friday will be a year without it. I need my car on the road. I will be selling a couple of things and using that money to pay someone to fix all the bugs I got (if any real bug). I will then go back to the emanage ultimate with a DD tune so nothing crazy maybe 10psi.

Once the car is running good and I get some dough again I'll buy the AEM again and finish the idle setup. So that means I'll be keeping a copy of the tune that I paid $500 for.lol

It was this or sell everything and buy something different. Now if it cost too much to fix the bug then I'll be selling eveything. Stay tuned (lol) and buy my stuff!

FOR SALE AEM EMS WITH 79%+ TUNED. I'll post more later.

I won't even try hard with the emanage. I want as safe as possible. I don't want to go crazy now. I just need my car running.

Offers for the EMS is welcome. It will come with the tune on it and what Dezod sends in case you want your tuner to work off that. Pretty much it's just the idle that needs to be worked on with the tune and maybe a little adjustment for your injectors and psi levels. Come on buy my stuff.

UPDATE:

I figured out how to take the PS pump off!! :D After staring at it for 45mins and feeling around, I found that the holes that the bolts go through on the timing cover has opening at the top. So pretty much you just loosen the bolts and pull them out a little (cuz you can't pull out all the way) and lift up. I found this the hard way by just figuring out. I called dealerships and no one could tell me anything cuz they never did it before.

So right now I got the bottom bolt unbolted and now I just got to get a longer ratchet to get the top one off.

I will continue to keep you guys updated and I haven't quite yet.

BTW, The AEM EMS is just about out. I just have to undo one harness and it's ready to go. The good news if you buy it you will get some hoses that it calls for to use that don't come with the IAC. Also a pic of where the IAC was mounted. Plus the IAC is tied into where it needs to be on the harness side... I think.lol

Glad its coming along. With the extras and partial tune you have on the EMS, you should be able to get back the actual cost of the EMS. Dont let anyone lowball you on it!!

UPDATE:

Finally the power steering pump is off! I tried using a regular allen wrench to pull the oil control valve filter but it's not working. I'll have to get a socket one tomorrow since I don't have a car to go get one for the rest of the day.

The oil pump screen? Yes pull the pan. If it's clogged there are two nuts you can take off just to remove that part of the pump without pulling the whole pump.
