again? and it is ofcourse pauls fault? just take it and get rewelded. if this is your 3rd manifold, i don't think it is dezod's fault yet. take some pics.

there is obviously something defective on the manifold's there cracking left and right.

he went through 2 manifolds before because he didn't use the dounut gasket that dezod supplies with their kits.

after the first one he broke, dezod sold him a new manifold at cost, then when he cracked that one, paul asked him to take and send him pictures of his exhaust system, and boom, solid exhaust system, no flex, which was why the manifold was cracking.

i believe both times it was cracked around the flange right? where is it cracked this time?

This is my 3rd crack on THIS manifold alone.. and yes i have a flex pipe RIGHT AFTER the primary o2 sensor and i also have a bracket UNDERNEATH the flex pipe conecting the downpipe to the block so there is NO PULLING whatsoever.. the weight of the turbo alone is cracking the manifold.. this thing is ____ing me off. Its not pauls fault, but this mani i have was one of the first he released to the public i believe.. and i think its a lemon.

its cracked at the flange... i went to the best welder within 50 miles of me.. he welds stuff for construction companys that make like retarded ____.. and no manifold is going to crack because a donut gasket, it was supposedly cuz i had no spring bolts.. but i know ppl who have all that and still crack.. and i did better and got a flex pipe right after the bend in the downpipe from turbo and it still went.

uhm...well...let me think alittle about this, okay, maybe the down-pipe and s-pipe are supposed to help support the turbo from the bottom, which is why they use a donut gasket to support the weight of the turbo? but the flex pipes provide less or no support? just a theory.

my point is that this isn't really a proper dezod kit, it was not installed in the manner that the maker designed it to be. does that make sense?

the other problem can be EGT's. do you know what yours are? that could also be causing your manifold to crack from stress.

um paul agreed with me the flex would help, the exhaust is not SUPPOSED to help support the turbo up. and if it was my setup currently still does because i have a bracket connecting the downpipe to the block so it doesnt move at all below the flex.

i have motormounts and balance shaft removed. still a manifold should be made to hold up to that.
