Ya if the cops are that picky i would still do a resenator on the mid pipe. I have spipe, midpipe(no cats or resenator), and trd axel back and its LOUD! Turbo should quiet it down a bit but still might get you harassed.

Hey guys, I don't mean to sound like a dick, but why don't you take all this non-contributing conversation about ZPI numbers to you know, a ZPI thread or something. Turbonetics put down those numbers on a completely stock car except for the kit, but that's for another thread entirely. Others are putting down much higher and more consistent number straight out of the box, so there must be some sort of issue with DTRUONG's car, and I'm sure he'd like that solved ASAP. I'll be watching the thread.

I hope you don't think we "inflate" our numbers or do unsafe tunes. People complained that our tunes were too rich, nevermind being on the lean side.

We tuned for 11.5AFRs, and closer to 11 when you get towards 11-12psi. We pulled 4 degrees of ignition timing back. How much safer do you want to go before you start throwing power away and sacrafice spark plugs, etc? Our BASELINE run did make 244whp, and 255wtq (EDIT* that number was with a catalytic converter, a resonator, amd a plumbed wastegate). That's a safe tune to me for 8.7psi. The open dump on the same components yielded a 256whp and 260wtq on a Dynomite. That's closer to 275whp at 8.7psi on a dyno jet.

ANYWAY back to your car man (sorry for being OT)... I know a lot of people are concerned with the peak numbers being so low, but I haven't seen anyone bring up the fact that the powerband is all over the place. It seems to be a serious tuning issue. I know for a fact that under open-loop (WOT), when you hit 5k it dips to the richer side. If you notice, right at 5k theres a big dip in power. This all shows to me you're running excessively rich (prob as rich as 8.5:1 or so, and when you hit 5k rpms it gets even richer. Tune that bad boy to an 11.5 and watch that number hit 250+. If you have anyother questions please let me know.

Ok. GL with the tuner, and let us know how it goes! I really think that's your issue, because the AEM will show 10:1 even if it's richer than that, so I really think that's the issue. At least it's rich and not lean haha, better safe than sorry.

did turbonetics use that mobile dyno that tends to overstate numbers? From what I remember that is what their numbers are from.

Dynapack Dynamometer

XS Engineering where that dyno sheet came from, they use a 2wd 1200hp Dynojet 248 chassis dynamometer.

you're not the only one with lower then expected dyno#. i have a turbonetic kit and my tC dyno at 220HP & 220TQ average, 3 pull total. DYNO IT ON A DYNOJET.

my tC is completely stock minus the turbo kit. A/F was 11.5:1 straight through. Anyway, i will post up my dyno graph tomorrow so you can compare how sh!tty both our dyno# are,

Dtruong I have a bad feeling your primary O2 is not reading right. Do you have a wideband in the car?

best move you made in this thread. every post you made was completly stupid. you tried to act like you knew what you were talking about but you were posting after MIAPLAYA who is a rep from T-Netics.

Go drive around in your boosted tC and stay out of this thread if you have no intelligent input. Why even bother saying you dont believe Dezod's numbers....you sir are on crack and seriously need to read the forums a bit more.

Where at in IL are you getting tuning? Might be the closest option for David.

There is a shop called GRD in Il that can perform tuning. They do a lot of Unichip stuff there. I think they are in Naperville or something like that...

Def a tuning issue, man saw that chart... wow... your fuel is all over the place is my guess. Also on the DJ, it will only read to about 10:1 and below that it will not read, so you may think your at 10:1 but you could have been well below that which is what it looks like...
