Default Need help choosing a turbo

I searched but didn't find much info...

I'm almost done with my custom turbo kit, but I need one last piece, my turbo!

Here are some specs on a turbo I am looking to buy

COMPRESSOR: 60 trim wheel, 0.60 a/r housing 2½" inlet, 2" outlet,

TURBINE: 68 trim wheel, 0.48 a/r ported housing, T3 flange, 5 bolts standard ford/saab style outlet.

My question is, would the turbine .48 a/r be too small? I know it will spool fast, but would it spool too fast?

My goals are to be around 300HP at around 10 psi, would this size turbo get me there?

Thanks for any help

lol, If i had the $$ I would...

SO far I have spent $1600 on my entire custom kit, so as you can tell im going the cheap route. I only want to spend around 400 on the turbo, i dont care if its used just need it to work

So does anyone know if a .48 a/r on the turbine would be too small?

Obviously you are not getting any help......just other suggestions on diff turbos.

The specs you posted will get you what you want.

The .48 is not too small.....so don't worry. It will be really responsive.....Just a weird turbine wheel for that housing. But it will work

Regards-

Todd

id say go with a 57 trim with a .63a/r. plus you can get them from pheonix turbo(cheapturbo.com) all day long for $619

.48 is more responsive the .63A/R housing but wouldnt a smaller compressor trim seem resonable such as a 50trim? If he's looking for resonse and low end?
