I`m going to boost the tC and I`ve been looking into standalones. My goal is 350WHP. So, do I need internals? If so, does a standalone make it where you don`t need internals? Because I`m on a budget here and don`t wanna build the block, for now anyway. I wanna run 10PSI, is that safe for internals and can the E-Manage Ultimate do that?

350 is pushing it on stock internals. 10 psi wont get you there with a piggyback.

I was thinking about getting a loan from the bank and that oughta help a lot. I guess I`ll go with a standalone, but at the same time, I sort of think it`s not worth it because I just want 300-325WHP.

honestly it depends what your long term goal is, there is no way your going to squeeze out 350whp and have long engine life. build the block and then boost.

ultimate or even blue can handle 10 psi. if you have a budget then i dont think you can get a standalone.. that will run you 2000 ish alone.. i think you can probably build up you motor some with that much money.. also if youre going to be adding to your build over time it might be better to start off with the emanage.. standalone when your finally done.. because i think one cost more to tune then the other and you need to retune everytime you add something.

i think you should do research on what you're doing. the TC can handle up to 12 psi daily driven. but that is ABSOLUTELY the limit on stock internals. if you build your internals you can throw 30psi at it and it won't care. but you run into the problem all FWD cars have. you will have problems hooking up for traction. it's not just what can my engine handle. you need to get that power to the ground. so if you do that better get some stiff coilovers to help with traction and have fun pricing thoes out. it's been said a countless amout of time and it will be said countless more. it is NOT as simple as putting a turbo kit on your car and you're set.

12 PSI is NOT the limit of the stock internals. You have to remember that each turbo puts out different power at different PSI.

Ive been running 14 PSI for 6 months now, stock internals. Boost dosnt usually blow motors, the tune usually does.
