Had mine in over a year (approx. 10k miles) and still holding strong. Paul posted my review on p.2. Well made in my opinion, though I've never experienced the old one frist hand.

I've had my comp stage 4 since the end of summer. No issues, it grabs something fierce and wont let go. Its not my friend in heavy traffic but sacrifices must be made for boost like my knee for example. Lol

The entire part assembly has been revamped top to bottom, so all should be perfect.

So an assumed 300ish whp on a stock clutch isn't ideal? Lol

I actually need to purchase a new one... car just turned 72,000 miles this weekend and it still has the stock clutch. I don't have any issues right now hooking up, but with the added power... probably need an upgrade

What would you recommend? HP WILL NOT EXCEED 400!!

All due honesty Paul, I don't know yet! The turbo isn't even on the car yet (got to love the NY winters...) I'm just thinking ahead of parts I'm going to need, now including the trans...

All the info for the kit is on my new build thread... so possibly a guesstimate from that?? I'm thinking approximately 300 ft/lb... is that in the ball park?

At that TQ level, go Stage 4.

My stage 4 sprung is starting to break in. Pedal feel is heavy but not unbearable. Much smoother than expected engagement, however it does shudder at low engine speeds while cruising ( <1500rpm ish). I live in west Michigan and we are getting it about as bad as you guys and first gear spins like crazy. I actually almost got stuck at a red light because I couldn't go forward

Stage 4s and 5s are like that. It's more of an on/off clutch and less featherable. It's due to it's puck nature (6 or 4).

Is your engagement point very low on the pedal?

Much more on/off style engagement. My engagement point is super low now. It feels kind of sloppy at the top though. I squeaked the tires trying to back out of the garage after install

Adjust your pedal some. Sounds like the clutch might not be totally disengaging.

I defiantly should adjust the pedal. The engagement point seems to have moved up some after my trip back over to east MI. The clutch is most likely fully, or close to fully, broken in now. A bit over 500 highway miles and about 100 city miles on it. Any good reads on adjusting the pedal or is it pretty self explanatory?
