are you kidding? they have a real project which has had a year worth of R&D - and they gave a bunch on information - and are now concluding on things. And your saying you read this forum, which gave you a behind the scenes knowledge of the product ...and your saying because you read that ....you are unhappy? um. yea.
I think what he is saying is he would rather have them work on it for a year and then post a thread saying "Look what we have coming out next week!" instead of posting up a "we are working on this coming out soon" and then no releasing it for a year.

And for a couple previouse posts...remember, this is NOT a standalone. It is a close to a standalone you can get without having to reprogram the entire ECU, but I wouldnt' exactly consider it a piggyback either.
i get what your saying - but i was just kinda shocked cause dezod pretty much has done nothing but good stuff for the scion community and that guys post was in left field. If they gave all the info last year and it took them a year to mess around with it to make a real unit ... then someone else not as busy but just as smart maybe could have stolen the product idea from them. In my view, they did the right thing. I forgot about that post and so did most people - so when they bumped it it was good news.

How could they gain interest if they don't hype it up or if they don't introduce it to the community before development starts? They have to introduce it to the community before anything starts, otherwise they'll have no idea if it's worth making it or not.

Option 1 (dezod's way) : 'We're looking into making a turbo kit for the Buick Regal. We're trying to gain interest, and if we get enough, we can produce it'
Option 2 (scikotictc232's way) : 'Here is a turbo kit for the Buick Regal. Wait, no one wants it? I just wasted thousands of dollars. I'm a moron.'

Well the car behaved much like we anticipated for 5 PSI. She made 216whp and 224wtq. She stills needs a little fine tuning. We would have been back sooner, but it's 45 mins there and 45 back. Plus we made a quick lunch pitstop.

Specs on the car it's running on? Gonna guess an S1 w/ a Dezod 2.5" turbo-back....if so, then those are good numbers.

did you tune while you were there or just run it? Were your prior tuning done as street tunes? Did you set a deff date for you 8lb test run? Did you find anything you werent expecting from the trip to the dyno?
