OK...didn't realize TPS meant throttle position!
So to calibrate that, though, since we are DBW...does the car have to be on? Does the motor need to be running? And do I have to rev it up high, or just push the pedel to the floor for a quick second?
Just trying to decide if I wanna do that in my garage or not since my new exhaust is way loud and i don't wanna ____ of my neighbors.

lol, since we are DBW. the key is on the on position. you push petal in for a SPLIT second. not even a full second.
engine is off.
rpm calibrating you hold hte rpms at a certain point for like a couple seconds
i got my 3 incher today =D
thanks to matt.

Meaty,
It's the same calibration that is done for an original install. [Engine OFF, IGN ON] It will prompt you to push the pedal down all the way, then you click the "ok" button, then will tell you to release the pedal and click "ok". It's to read the TPS voltage so it knows how much throttle is being applied.

OK...well...I have an intake filter for you...my old K&N filter cause I bought that AEM Dry flow. It's the 3 incher I got from Todd.
And as soon as I get my new pipes from Todd, you can have my old hot/cold IC pipes.
but I do need some touch up paint on my rims...

This program needs a map trace function, thats my only complaint instead of reading logs then going back to certain spots and remembering how the car felt at what RPM, it ( a trace function) would make tuning so much easier
i have to call aem tomorrow to see what i can do, the program isn't recognizing the f/ic on 3.01 and 2.01 isn't letting hte firmware update go past the 3rd page of the micropages.
when i FIRST did it it stopped updating at page 3 of the micropage an wouldn't work anymore.

aen...have you tried pulling the f.ic out of the car and then flashing it while disconnnected, only hooked up to the laptop?
crippie, when you flashed yours, did you have the 3.01 software installed first, and then flash the f/ic? Or did you flash the f/ic with the 2.01 software and then upgrade to 3.01?

yea, i did. i was on the aem forums last night and googleing everything and it turns out that this problem is't that uncommon. sometimes these things get confused and they need to be hardflashed. i hvae to send it to AEM
i had previously flashed the fic to 2.01 a few weeks ago.. this time i dled the update, placed it into the AEM folder, and that gives you a new exe file that you use to replace the existing one on your desktop. then you flash like normal following the directions the proggy gives you
