Default The New SuperCharger

I was at the scion dealership and saw a Tdr supercharger comming in the winter of 2007. I don't know what it does (i think it make the car goes faster lol) I do know it takes a lot of gas so how much gas will I lose and how much power will I gain please help.

i take it u are talking about the s/c for the 07s?

s/c have been talked over and over again... i was thinking maybe just maybe at first...you are talking about a new as in a different design s/c...but then i read your post over and assumed u were talking about a s/c for the 07... so yea

yeah.. supercharger came out a long time ago for the 05's and 06's. Maybe you saw that they had the fit kit for the 07.

A supercharger uses a belt driven turbine (usually) to force more air into the engine.. thus allowing more power to be produced.

A turbo (not offered by toyota) does the same (with different characteristics) but is driven off of exhaust gasses.

You can find a lot of info here and on other sites about both. In the future, try using the search feature, you will find a lot of info. And will not get flamed for not searching first
