I take it that the top two pictures are the new pics? 'Cause it's a completely different setup than the bottom 3. Especially since the top pics have Vortech on the side of the blower and are minus the stock air box.

Looks like the top 2 pics have a CAI. I also read somewhere that Vortech makes the TRD s/c.......can someone confirm this?

I have had those top two pics on my computer since last June. I dont think any of them are that new. Still, enough to make my mouth water when I see them though.

Look closely, you can see "VORTECH" written on the side in the first pic. Now the question is, when will this be released and are we still looking at a 40HP improvement or have things been improved...

only a few people know and they are not talking. i herd about 40 for stage 1, however my dealer said they needed to get more than 40hp. they wanted to get hp up to 220. i guess i will find out when it comes out.

TRD wants to make sure our Tc will be faster than the cobalt and redline ION

That would be sweeeeet. How would this impact clutch slip, would it be best to upgrade to the TRD clutch kit?

You mean the carbon fiber engine cover? You can get it from your Scion dealership.

Sure, if you're not concerned about your warranty.

Sweet pics!

Will it come covered?

The system is covered by a TRD 5 year/60,000 mile warranty when installed by a Scion dealer and is emissions legal in all 50 states.

This pic shows some of the kit but not all of it . It will also come with a piggyback ECU instead of a flash reprogram that they had orig. planed on . The good thing about the piggyback ECU you can install it yourself . With a flash reprogram of the ECU it would almost have to be done at the dealer . (Which we would love to do but I know there are a lot that would rather do the work their self)

Just to make sure but wouldn't the piggyback ecu need to be installed by a dealership to maintain the warranty?

I am pretty sure that the answer is yes and the comment about the ECU as a piggyback would be better for future Scion owners or ones installing themselves.
