Are you referring to Boost Threshold, or Lag. Cause what most people refer to as Lag is actually Boost Threshold.

The Two step gets rid of the Boost Threshold problem. And power shifting takes care of Lag.

 

I don't think you would notice the difference in spool on a 2.4L. If anyone is curious as to what this turbo can do check this link.

Jotech Motorsports made 740ish whp on their tC. Anyone remember what turbo they were using? I think it was a 42r.

 

it was the hks to4z turbo ..im sponsored by jotech i was doin that exact build but we wanted to keep my a/c so we went another route to still push about 650whp and keep my a/c it also makes it about 7grand cheaper...and we all kno florida heat sucks so i need my a/c

right, cuz there is no such thing as turbo lag, you are simple below the efficiency range of the turbo for it to generate significant boost etc etc etc. lol.

well not drivin it yet lol but will be .....and the team is no more we ended team stance about a month ago there was just to much drama and b.s within the team but its ok were gonna be comming back stronger just not as team stance anymore. a few of our team members are sticking together and we got some new stuff to throw into the mix....
