No engine management @6psi: Safe or Unsafe?

if your gauges read good and you have no cel lights i think your good to go til you get things figured out!!!!!!
hope things get worked out for ya and you get that thing tuned and blasting down the road!

I ran 6psi with a T3/T04B for 3 months and 7psi with a T3/T04E for another 3 months before getting a FIC. That was around 6,000 miles w/o management and I've now gone another 14,000 miles boosted without issue. That was stock ECU with 440cc injectors, a SMIC and 93 pump.
I'm not recommending what I did for the long-term but the base map you can easily build with the FIC software is more than safe enough to get you to a tuner.

I consider that a tune. That may not be the best way to do it but you have something. I am referring to people that run completely factory ECU and no injectors or just factory ECU with only injectors. Try running that way long term = fail. Measure your EGT's without having management and see the difference on a stock tC and your boosted without management.

Sorry guys off topic but:
I bought a $hitty ebay kit like a retard cause i got impatient on saving with a slow job. however...
I am running 6psi on stock injectors and i have my AEM FIC and dont really know my way round the software too well. But I know enough to follow directions if i had some, as in if its running lean in what cells under the fuel map do I change and what do i put in them to make it run around an AFR of 12-13?
Those kinds of questions I have.

haha wow what a good parent. At least that will keep her safe lol.
Another question: When I am in the screen to change the AFR, what else do I need to change and how do I change it to match the AFR i set it at?
Dumb question I know sorry. And I know ignition is the answer or one of the answers but how do I do that and what do i change it to?

TUNE IT!! I know how hard it is to stay out of boost when its there, I went about 2 months with no tune running 7psi and 550cc i drove it to work a couple of times witch required going up a big hill (grapevine,CA.) no matter what i did it would go on boost, fr's would hit 10 on my a/f gauge, anyways the problem was after it was tuned and i was driving it hard than it caught up to me and the engine took a dump about 3 months later, It only had 20k miles on it.... BIG MISTAKE.. My recomendation: TUNE! Save ur self another nightmare like ur other car.

I've always wanted to install a car battery or multiple powerwheels batteries wired to up the voltage on those things just to see what would happen....maybe on a toggle switch hooked up to a relay? Might be fun. Not that I would recommend that for a kid... but were all kids inside...
