Dont listen to anyone that says u done NEED gauges. They obviously dont know much about boosting a car.

Most important are:
boost
wideband a/f
oil temp
exhaust gas temp

He meant "don't NEED" ^^

You will definitely need a boost gauge to make sure you're not boosting wayyy more then you should.

Good ones to have would include, in this order:
Wideband, a real one not an autozone gauge.
Oil temp
Exhaust Gas

Hawgs hit the nail on the head.

Well the guy who just said that owns a boosted tc w/ gauges too, he gives me advice and help in building mine so I dont think he dont know much.. Im not sure y he said that coz I do believe that gauges are necessity in aftermarket turbos.. maybe he meant you dont need gauges to make your turboed car run.. anyweiz in my opinion from most important are

1. Air/Fuel ratio
2. Boost
3. Oil Pressure
4. EGT gauges

then if you want you can run
5. Oil temp
6. something else or maybe scangauge

seriously though some who went turbo didnt have gauges right away and didnt have problems running the car,of course its not advised.. but I havent heard anyone running a car without tires.. excellent analogy my man.

Id say boost and wideband are a must... oil pressure is always good too.
