Thats what I want to see. AFR's with the pulley. It was never determined in my case what caused the problems nor was I running a CAI. If its not the tune, it might've been an issue with the PCV system combined with the extra boost. I was actually burning oil at about 1qt./week. Either way, I had this setup and I blew two motors.
When it worked, it was WRX and Mustang GT(never got to run a current gen) walkin, Prelude Type H and RSX-S stomping, RX-8 door blowing, and naturally an all-show-no-go ricer crushing machine and I loved all 3000 miles of it.
If I was confident that I could do it again without problems I would but...
Lets try to find the person running the 9.5 pulley with the TRD tune that has been going the most miles with zero problems.
I am currently enjoying my longest tenure(7k miles!!) with the supercharger while experiencing no problems. Unfortunately, I have a stock setup.

My blower I put about 10k on, and it was used. The person before me got the pulley in FEB of 2005. I think he used it for 10 or 15k before selling it to me. I only had to replace a seal on the blower

I plan on buying their pullies. How hard would they be to install without taking the motor out? And how long?

Ahh, the 3 in a set. I have a turbo, so obviously not the supercharger one.

Nice, I will check it out. Thanks. What pullies are there? Crank pully, water pump, and what else? Overdrive? And what are their purposes exactly? Helps makes it more efficient like a flywheel?

Alternator I believe, I have all three waiting for my build on the new motor.

yeah it makes it more efficient by lowering the weight of the components aswell as the drag on the belt system.

i hafta agree...I think I was one of the first people to ever rock one of the NST boost pulleys and it made a world of a difference...id say at least a 20whp gain for less than $100...thats an incredible cost:power ratio. I also was one of the first to test the CR lite pulley and paired with the flywheel, the revs where a lot quicker. Worth ever dollar hands down

^ Thats the truth. Even if you Turbo your car these are a good idea to run. If your supercharged dont run an underdrive pulley though, it will lower your boost.

Seals yes, bearings some times. Its really hit or miss. The seal is a POS though. Its only single sided and made of a bad material when mixed with oil.

Okay...I have made a silly mistake and have not done my research thoroughly. I just ordered a CAI by MMW aka Secret Weapon and an NST 9.5 pulley with the Gates Belt. People are saying that a CAI will run the car lean and I can understand why. I went to buy these two parts with the understanding that the TRD map is rich as I have been told by many people. I do not have to install these parts just because I bought them. I am thinking about returning my CAI and just installing my NST pulley. Anyone have any sound advice as to what I should really do with my CAI. I have seen people that have them and have had no problems. Are the skeptics speaking from pure guessing and no evidence?
