Default O2 sensor + glowshift wideband = fail

Maybe im missing something but the O2 sensor that i tried to use with my glowshift wideband does not fit into the wideband connection. It seems to be the right size but it will not snap into place.

here are some pics of what im talking about

Please let me know if im missing something real simple or i should just buy an AEM wideband.

Thanks

I would trust aem over glowshift anyday but thats just me.
Is it possible the rubber seal is bunching up keeping you from fully connecting?
Iv had that happen to me on injectors

Looks like your glowshift wideband uses the vw sensor harness. I converted my AEM to use this harness as the sensors are easier to find locally I have a p/n for one somehwere - theyre like $55 for the sensor at vatozone
