do you have a release date or no?

 

We'll have a functional kit in about two weeks. If testing/abuse/racing goes well, it'll be available soon after. Hopefully the 2nd or 3rd week of september for sure.

 

Wow looks like this kit will be out before any other turbo kit. That's great for you guys and very bad for all the other companys

 

Our goal isn't to beat release dates of other companies. We started this kit because we couldn't find a system we thought would work well with our racing setup. So we decided to make our own. But at the rate we're going I'm confident we'll beat Scion Speed to it (just from how things currently look). ZPI is already shipping so they definately have the jump on us though. It'd be great to have an all-out Scion tC turbo meet in the FL area where all turbo companies can bring their car out to race on some tracks (not just drag racing). Should be fun.

 

Not to sound negative about the other company, but I'll believe the kits are shipping when I see someone post that they got it. I know I'm still waiting and if yours is out before I get mine, I will definatly be ordering it.

does he have any relative numbers on what kind of gains you are going to see with his kits? it will probably be the same as all the other kits, 230 whp with the base kit and so on

 

i believe he was aiming higher (260whp) but i'd wait for him to comment.

 

Yeah it should be close to 260WHP at the default boost level that they ship with. With a digital boost controller or manual boost controller you'd be able to pass 300whp on the stage 1 kit.

 

Yeah concrete blocks are must for handicapped races lol.

We really don't know a price yet because the kit isn't finished. Once it's pretty much finished we'll be able to give out a more accurate price.

 

is default boost at 7 or 10 psi?

 

8.7psi is default boost.

Has anyone ever heard of Dezod before they posted here are they good or not. I'm only asking cuz I have been following this since the day it started and i want this turbo but i never heard of them before. I was going to buy a ZPI turbo but after seeing it installed i didnt like it it looks cheap IMO. I've been waiting for Greddy or HKS but its taking to long so if anyone can give me some feed back thank you

Yea i seen it already but i wanted personal experiences i"ve seen to many of my friends blow there motors cuz of cheap turbos i want something reliable. So far this is the best kit i've seen
