Official Dezod Turbo thread:12/21 - Long-term and new parts!
I can do the install at my house. I have a 3 stall heated gargage so no matter when you buy we can do it. The install will be fairly easy believe it or not.
It's a 1.4" H&R drop, with 18x8" HP Evo wheels, 38mm offset. I sell the springs here: http://www.dezod.com/pd_hr_sport_springsscion.cfm.
I'm about to head down to install the IC. I'll be back soon with pics.
Car Domain site is out of date. The interior looks slightly different, I have a new trunk setup, and there's some other misc stuff not pictured yet. I'll be updating it next week. Here's a link in case... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/704420/1

Update 7-15-05!!
This is what everyone's been waiting for. You can now see what the turbo and IC look like. I figured I hyped it up enough to show a little of what I'm talking about to back it up. The turbo pics were taken on some black felt I had left from the custom system.

- The turbo is polished with a gold anodized center. I'm chosing not to show all the angles because of certain specs stamped on the housings. The IC pic is the only one for now, expect more once I can get the car out of the garage and back on the road.
Here's a quick shot of the custom audio system I just finished (This explains my delay on the IC mounting). I have 2 shows this weekend and wanted to do something a little extra...)

Yeah, same here. Although I go to school in Philly and after talking to this guy in person, I would go up there and get this thing done.
Quick question: If I make the pre-order deposit, how long do I have to come up with the rest of the money? or can I just give you my monetary commitment and wait til the spring to shell out the rest of the cash?

Joe,
I don't know how your experiences with random tech have been on this platfrom, but I can tell you they have disappointed me in the past.
For example, my previous car was a modded grand prix GTP and I experienced the joys of BOTH 1st and 2nd gen downpipes from R/T. BOTH pipes were a complete disaster in terms of fit/function.
The first generation had a flex pipe that they would leak after just a few hundred miles, had it been the woven style it might have stood a chance. This pipe also provided folks with larger swaybars some grief; most had to 'flip' their bar, and it would STILL hit the downpipe going into driveways or when making slow sharp turns, as well as during some crisp WOT shifts(the sad part about this is the engine knock sensors picked this up occasionally and would register as false knock, but still pulled timing). The increase in pipe diameter (+1/2" over stock) without changing the pipe geometry caused this problem.
What kills me is the second generation. The flex was such a nuisance to them that they decided to completely eliminate it. I guess the thinking there was that a transverse mount motor wouldn't flex much (hmm think about it, rev your motor and see how it moves
) The stiffness of the pipe also mad it a nightmare to seal at the manifolds. They eventually cam up with a halfa$$ fix of using a dount gasket and spring studs, which helped a little, but still made for a 'bouncy' exhaust. Not to mention the suspension clearance had not been resolved yet
The pipes sure were pretty though, (good material/ finish) even after several thousand miles if that is any consequence.
If they are your ONLY option I understand, but it might be worth at least considering another source.
There's my rant of the day...take it as you will.

Update 7-21-05!!
ACT has given us the parts numbers we requested to sell the new ACT clutch systems for the tC. We now sell matching clutch sets to go with our turbo kits. Please follow this link if you want your clutch today: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=74102. We will be offering them with our turbo kits at a discount if they're purchased at the same time of the kit. The street setup is what we're promoting because the pucks are just a little to harsh for daily driving. Another new update, we are now proud to announce that by the time our kits are ready for shipment, we will offer a full plug and play system for the emanage. Not only will it come with a pre-tuned application disc to get your car on the road, but it will come with a full harness replacement that connects to your stock ECU and directly to the emanage, no wire splicing necessary. This is by far the fastest, cheapest, and most reliable way to get your tC connected up to a fully programmable engine management system Expect more updates soon as we are working night and day on getting the most out of our turbo kits to give you the looks, reliability, and performance that everyone wants. Thanks again.
