That's a start. Those were really short 3rd gear pulls. I lose traction in 3rd towards 4500rpms or so... The clutch breaks free from the motor in 4th, and it's only been one night. Already need to install the ACT now lol...

Ok guys here's the scoop. This is the first kit we've made. After some very heavy abuse tonight we're finding that the high-flow cat doesn't like constant abuse. It can handle daily driving fine, but long runs of boost will get it pretty hot. We actually got it glowing red lol... Anyway... Even at the lower 8.7psi, we still pulled ignition timing back about 4 degrees. It's been running fine so we figure why not play it safe a bit.
Here's the detail of the dyno... We used a $40K dyno. It has a computerized load system to generate a virtual street run. The extra load gives us a longer pull and shows how the motor will run on the street. According to our tuner, without the extra load put on, he said the numbers would be about 15% higher than recorded. The pulled ignition timing lost us about 20hp on the dyno, but it's better safe than sorry. We did this dyno using a cat, 8.7psi, stock clutch (which is slipping horribly already, 4th doesn't hold at all anymore under boost), the wastegate being dumped into the cat, and with the 18s on the car haha...
The HP on the actual dyno was 243.3 and 255 tq. With just a 15% correction for what a normal dyno would show, you would have seen 279.8WHP and 293.3 TQ. Now the future kits will probably not come with the Cat anymore (but may be an option for those who want it), and the wastegate will be dumped. This means we're expecting about 260WHP WITH the 15% load. Our goal is about 300WHP with minor modification, but 260 is reasonable.
Here's the graph, almost a perfectly flat (somewhat rich) fuel curve....

I don't see too many cars being able to hang with the tC once it get's out of 1st gear... It's a torque monster, and we don't even have the final kinks pefect yet haha... But yeah I'm excited about the progress.
