We are planning on using the pressure sensor very soon because TPS does not take load into account. The Greddy MAP setup will allow for having a better tune in independent gears, vs. a tune for a general assumed load (usually found in 3rd +).

The question still remain, how long will the setting remain untill the ecu relearn. no one wants to keep on resetting their ecu.

With that much torque generated in the low end, alot of people are going to snap their axle.

Oh, neither do I. I was just wondering if that's what they were trying to achieve.

Cats also muffle the sound by a bit.

And don't forget - this has nothing to do with CARB - removing a cat and not replacing it is a federal offense.

We'll be monitoring the AF values for the next few weeks. The car is VERY fast. We just found out that it was the clutch slipping in 3rd on the dyno, not the tires rubbing. I wasn't actually there for the dyno so the guys there had no idea. The numbers could actually be even higher, even with the 15% load. I'll be replacing the clutch with the ACT one shortly.

The car LIGHTS 1st and 2nd, and DID spin part of third, but now the clutch completely lets go in 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The cat is there for Fed reasons, but we plan on making a cat-less DP for racing use.

Quick Vid for you!!

Well, as you can see, I went from point A to point B in about 5 seconds. I wasn't putting anyone at risk in such a short time, all the stores were closed lol.

But yes, the clutch is a joke now.

Not true. The car runs and idles fine now. The 2nd tuning session smoothed out all of the kinks.

We just want to test a little longer to see if everything remains perfect.

In TN, the only people you ever have to worry about poping out a mirror to check to see if you have a CAT are the emissions stations. And they don't even look under your hood. And some counties don't even have emissions testing....

Means....I don't give a crap about CARB, I live in TN.

man i m excited for you guys.

i just hope you guys do a alot of testing to make it drivable for some of the daily driver out there not just for race purposes only. i just read a horror story about the scion speed turbo guy and maybe you guys should work on it for him instead of zpi.

I don't know if i'm speaking for everyone, but i know most everyone here would much rather you get all the possible kinks and issues solved before shipping. Just not worth it to have the turbo a couple weeks sooner if there's problems with it. Make sure you guys are 100% satisfied before releasing it. We will appreciate it in the end.
