Dezod,
My opinion on the situation is this: I am currently saving up money to turbo my car next spring because I am on summer break from school right now so you can imagine how hard it is to save up this 3k. But with all of these kits coming out at once, im at a loss on which one to give my money to. Im sure im not alone in saying, that I want to buy the kit that I will get the most out of, with performance and reliability. Now ZPI is offering 230-250 whp for $3000, so naturally that sounds wonderul to me, but if you people came out with a more powerful kit for the same price, then bam you're in. So I hope that possibly you can offer well over 250 whp for 3k, then you'll have my business, as well as im sure many more customers, cause around all the trash talk and rumors, dyno numbers and 1/4 times dont lie. So surprise me dezod!

I agree with ^ but i would pay 3k+ for a kit with less gains if i know its built right and wont make me blow my engine after all you get what you pay for and when you go for whats cheaper you sometimes end up paying more in the end when you need a new engine. Just my 2 cents. I look foward to buying this kit keep up the good work

personally if the Dezod kit put down 230-240whp I would be happy enough as that would be plenty power for me, as long as it's quick to spool with minimal lag I wouldn't mind if it didn't produce tons of power.

i agree. I didn't emphasize enough the importance of making it every bit reliable as it is powerful. I guess my point was that, if you want to get the best results in the market, i'd say go above and beyond your competitors. but that's kind of obvious, i just posted that because I thought it might help dezod in the R&D. goodluck, and if the price is right, and the power and reliability is there, ill be talking to you people in march.

what you need to look for in a turbo kit is

#1 - good design.

from a turbo standpoint you want one small enough to spool quickly and large enough to be efficient and give a cooler intake charge compared to a choked small turbo. also look into the flow design of the intercooler and the intake piping.

#2 quality of supporting components

emanage rocks. tial rocks. turbonetics obviously rocks.

#3 support

having the company go overboard with instructions and helping people get their car boosted is a great thing. it doesn't happen too often.

there are other things such as warranty and power gains but these are the most critical cost determining factors when it comes to a turbo kit.

Dezod has my vote even without seeing the gains on it. I trust that the quality is top notch on the Dezod kit and the addition of amazing customer service plus upgradability is enough to make me buy the kit even if it made slightly less numbers.

also remember, peak numbers are useless (like a 1000 hp supra).. a broad powerband is what you're looking for.

ok i'll shut up now LOL

You guys rock. Thanks for the support. I actually have pics of the manifold but we don't want to release them until at least next week. Wait until you see how insanely smooth it came out. Almost zero welds on the runners, all stainless, and the piping is just gorgeous to look at. Expect to see the turbo actually mounted in the car sometime soon (next 2 weeks or so).

As for numbers, it's hard to say what it will produce. We're hoping to achieve 270WHP with our exhaust upgrade on just the stage 1 so we'll see what happens. Regardless of the numbers, expect one of the most reliable kits on the maket, because we won't release it until it's at that point.

I would be willing to sacrifice a little power for a complete kit includking exhaust pipes, clutch and an intercooler. I hate the fact that the other stage 0 and 1 kits do not include an intercooler because it is damn hot in Vegas! I really like the completeness that your kit appers to be coming to.

The clutch and exhaust will not come standard because some people already have those mods or choose to not use them, but they will be offered as a "package price" for those who'd like to add it in when they buy the turbo kit.

The plug and play system is really what makes me happy with this kit. Now most people can install this kit with some simple elbow grease and a few tools. A TRUE bolt-on/plug-n-play 250whp kit? I think so!

**Disclaimer** - The 250whp remark made above is only an approximation, expect a minimum of 235whp, and a max of about 300whp on the stage 1 system, at a mere 8.7psi.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I'm willing to pay a little more to get a complete kit. I'm ordering my Injen exhaust tonight, so your absolutley right about that. It does include the Intercooler though, righht? That's most importiant to me.

The intercooler is standard, it will come with any kit you buy from us, regardless of the stage.

The stage 2 will just have a larger intercooler, for higher HP capabilities. We are keeping the stage 1 small to allow for great radiator efficiency, lower lag, and less pressure drop.

That's pretty sick. I hope your kit makes the numbers you want to get it up to. An upgradable stage1 kit making around 250+/- hp would be right where I want to be.
