In curiousity because the shop i had send out my tranny the owner who i talk to alot about cars said even with 16 psi i wont get past 320 whp.. i looked at him and thought he was an idiot but what kind of numbers do u think i would be putting down at 16 psi with the auto on meth? I ordered the tranny stall saying i wanted to be near 350whp.
note i put 242 whp on 6 psi on dynojet numbers.

ok so i had ordered cp pistons 9.1 88.5 mm bore but japtrix is telling me that i should of gotten 20 over pistons cuz if we use stock bore since my car has 50k miles on it they might not sit well or something? anyone? if i need to get 20 over pistons what does that mean.

Also they said i should get a new oil and water pump because of my mileage? would u agree? is this the same oil pump that level ten says they upgrade with the transmission? or seperate. i have alot to learn as i see lol.

Depends on turbo size......what the efficiency level of the turbo is. Can't always go by 16psi to this and that.

it means that over time your cylinder walls will become scratched. when you put in new pistons, the cylinder walls will need to be bored out slightly in order to remove the scratches and make everything smooth again. by doing this, it makes the bore size slightly larger, and stock bore size pistons will not be large enough. this can cause massive blow by. one way to fix this is to get pistons that are .020mm larger, or to get new aftermarket sleeves bored to stock size.

i would go with a 90mm bore, since thats the only other size head gasket that cometic makes.

They are talking about Engine Oil Pump and not about Transmission Oil pump! And Yes at 50k miles you should replace them both.

0.020" over bore is equal to 0.5mm. So that makes the piston an 89mm not 88.7mm!

I honestly think you should do three things:
1- Search more in the Forced Induction Area before asking
2- Go and ask all these questions to the people building your engine because they are going to do things their way and not what people in ScionLife say!
3- Start a thread to post the questions regarding your Auto tranny and the power level you want it to hold

Personally, I wait to take the head off the block to see what is needed... But in the builds I have done, only one car had a scuffed cylinder wall because of a bent rod... All the others looked just as good as they would have from the factory, so you might be ok... But the shop is right, if you are going to order parts before opening the block they should be oversized.

eh they shipped my pistons already so i have to send them back i told them to have CP make me 89mm bore pistons and restock the ones they sent me. does the head gasket match the bore of the pistons? would a 89 gasket be good for 89 pistons?
