yeah man. No one that posts at lease. I know of two tc's that will run faster than that around me, but they wont post their times. You definitely are on of the top contenders. Fastest stock motor by far.

You should have been around back in the day. Then you would be sitting among the 12.1 stock motor, 12.5 stock motor, and 12.7 built motor runs. Today though...aint nobody going to the track. Afraid of breaking stuff I guess....:?
Since you dropped your other motor in, guess I'm the only one left to try and break an 11sec pass on a stock block. You were full interior right?

Well, let me apologize in advance then... Now I'm not saying I'm going to eclipse your time...all I'm saying is..my cars interior consist of Two Corbeau FX1 seats (19lbs a piece), Headliner, side lining, center console and dash. Everything else has gone Kaput! Also, Carbon fiber hood/fenders. And more than likely will not have a Sunroof either (will be replaced with aluminum most likely). Sunroof sheds 40lbs alone. So, we shall see...

Id also like to know what the fastest auto time is I have never found a built auto tranny that made it down the track I plan to have good tires and a mod valve body in the next couple months than ill be comin for ya Bdis haha Im hoping to pick up one of these tranny's for $200 down in TX so i can use the valve body to mod and eventually build the tranny

Theres a yard down by Dallas that had like 4 auto tranny's laying around with 10-15kmiles on them Only wanted like $200 each - needa call them and see if they still have them. They had them when i talked to them like 3 months ago

I'm going to run mine with just the valve body until it goes boom, or it slips a lot. I wanna really test this trans. I think its better than people say. I know of an auto tC runinng on a zpi kit that ran a 13.1. Now hes built engine and trans with a custom turbo set up, and is ungodly quick.

I take it he had the mod valve body also? I know where the tranny slips and without it i would almost have to say a 13.1 would be physically impossible. Theres a pretty decent standing figure stating to reduce et by .15 you have to pickup 10whp. Using that figure - youre at 266 whp so he would need to be at 290-300 whp to run a 13.1 - I have seen many tests showing the bone stock tranny will slip at anything over 250 whp/250 wtq consistently - ive yet to see one defy this and ive talked to 4 others using running the auto and i myself have seen the same thing. So with the added "slippage" youd probably loose another 20% efficiency to the drivetrain causing the required hp to rise to around 330-350whp - rough estimates of course - but at this amount of power and torque i have a feeling the clutch plates would mearly shear and self destruct in seconds causing the car to end up about 1/4 down the track on its first run If someone knows other than this feel free to chime in. With the mod valve body id like to see how far the auto can go - i have a feeling it can take quite a bit of power with the modified valve body - but i seriousely doubt a 13.1 can be seen on a bone stock tranny

Do you know how long is tranny held up with that much power? He had to def be in the 280-290 whp at minimum - if the valve body is helping that much (which is def possible) than this could be good news for us auto folks

On that run he forgot to hit the switch for his nitrous too. I wonder what his time would have been like if he came off the line with a 75 shot.
