Default Officially boosted on 8.30.13

Hey everyone,

I just got the tC back, and the turbo kit is finally up and running. It's a slightly modified turbonetics kit running a 50 trim .63 a/r t3t4 turbo and 550cc deatschwerks injectors. It's also being controlled with an AEM FIC instead of the standard Unichip. Right now its running off of a base map, so I won't have any dyno numbers until next Monday when it gets tuned but I'll be sure to post them up as soon as I do.

Thanks everybody, the installation was done by a very good friend who owns a performance shop in the area. I figured it was better to let a professional handle it; especially since there was some custom fabrication that had to be done. The base map that I have is meant for different size injectors, so it was enough to get it on the flatbed but I definitely can't drive it yet. Once it's tuned I'll be sure to get some videos and dyno numbers up

Very nice, it's good to see another BCP get boosted. I feel like this color doesn't get enough love. What type of numbers are you going for?

I know what you mean! I love BCP! I am going to be pushing 10psi on 550cc's with the stock fuel system so hopefully around 290 on the mustang dyno.

Hopefully you shouldn't have any trouble achieving those numbers at 10 psi. That's right what I'm going for too. It's actually an eBay grill that I bought a while back. The top fit perfectly, but I could never get the bottom to snap in (thankfully that's not a problem now). The only thing I don't love about it is the fact that it's a gloss black instead of a flat black, but other than that i haven't had any complaints. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/180858219875...84.m1439.l2649

Awesome bro! Thanks! I wonder if this would fit with the intercooler? I am probably going to have to paint some chicken wire or something and rivet it in otherwise. I do a lot of highway commuting and there are bugs and rocks galore here in Michigan. I wish the front of my car was still as nice as yours ;) I guess thats what happens after 120k miles lol

I'm really not sure, it's all going to depend on how your intercooler sits. Mine is actually touching the bumper so there's no way I can get any type of stock fitting grill in there

That's a different grill not standard scion tC grill, even debagged has huge round circle in the middle.

Quick question for everyone, the car is going in for its tune on Monday and I still have almost 3/4 of a tank of regular in the car. I need to drain the tank and fill it with premium beforehand, but I don't have any experience doing this. I image it's impossible to siphon it out, but does anyone have any other ideas? I'm thinking of just disconnecting the fuel line going to the injectors and priming the fuel pump over and over again until it all drains out. I've tried searching but apparently everything thinks anyone who is trying to siphon a gas tank is up to no good...

You can disconnect at the rail, jump the relay and let the pump continue to pump out.

Is there a different relay I can swap it out for or how would you recommend jumping it? Thanks for your help

under the back seat pull the cover of to the fuel pump and the the plug that feeds the pump has 2 sections one of the sections has two leads jut tap them wit a battery until the fuel is out. if the polarity is backwards u will know nothing comes out the fuel line in the front and don't worry u will not mess up the pump if it backward at first its just a motor that pumps which ever way its fed from power.

Thanks for all the help guys. I got everything taken care of, and now it's just a matter of getting the car over to get tuned. I also had a little surprise show up in the mail today
