Oil Spurting From Breather Filter
For a while, I've been leaking oil from my breather, and now it's getting all over the engine bay. I have a ZPI kit, but I know someone with Turbonetics kit that's having the same problem in that area.
Will an oil catch can solve that problem?

I had the ZPI Stage 0 and The breather( I had a small Cone Filter on it) would get really saturated with oil. It did not squirt that I know of... hard to tell because of the filter.

It's not like the oil is just flying out of the cone lol, but I do notice that there's a lot of oil splattered on my piping and head.
do a compression test, or have a shop do one. You could have bent a valve or cracked a ring landing and could be pressurizing the oil pan causing more blowby than supposed to be. which also is hard on your turbo since it cant drain correctly if the oil pan has pressure. if a compression test comes back ok then just an oil catch can to soak it up.
Most cars with just a breather filter will have oil come out of it. You can wipe down the area around the filter and if there's a lot of oil there the next day then I'd do a compression/leakdown test. If it's not bad, then yes I would definitely get a catch can.
yes, a baffled or filtered catch can, either from moroso or the DC 3... here is a good install...

Ok, bought the oil catch tank, but I'm still getting oil coming out from the other side of tank. One of the tubes is connected to the PCV, but I'm not sure where the other hose should be connected to.

Also, how do I perform a Compression/leakdown test?

^^You know what, I was just about to do a DIY on how to do a Compression/Leakdown Test. I think I will do a video DIY on it, instead of write-up.
In the mean time, you can go buy a pressure tester ($30 at O'Riely's Autoparts).
PS.....Nice Catch can setup. Is that a 20G turbine?
